 Mission Haiti Quake Relief –  During noon hour on Thursday, January 28,  OCCS students gave away their "lunch money" for Haiti Quake relief.  Each student was encouraged to bring the cost of a lunch or family meal to the lunch line before receiving their meal.  Over $2400 was given!  This money will be sent to Mission Haiti to be used to repair the orphanage from quake damage and to ship food and supplies to the area.  Orange City Christian has been privileged to support Mission Haiti for 6 years.  The mission includes an orphanage supporting 8 children, 4 schools serving over 600 children, providing them  daily meals, and evangelism efforts with home visits, prayer and maternal health training. The mission is entirely made up of volunteers with  mission teams and teams of volunteer medical help.  This area is about 100 miles driving distance from Port Au Prince.  If you would like more information about Mission Haiti and  desire to pray, donate, or volunteer here is the link to their website:  http://www.mission-haiti.org/.
